Alumni Guest Speaker at Prize Giving
On the 3rd of March 2011 Dr Alain Tschudin was the guest of honour at Prize Giving.

Dr Alain Tschudin is an alumnus of St Henry’s, having matriculated in 1991. During his Matric year, he was a prefect and an Honours’ blazer recipient. Alain began his tertiary studies at the University of Natal, completing a B.Soc.Sc (Hons) in 1995 and then a PhD in 1999. Further studies at the University of Cambridge led to Dr Tschudin acquiring a Masters of Philosophy degree (in Theology and Religious Studies) and a second PhD in 2007.
Alain is a registered professional psychologist and a research consultant with experience in conflict intervention, resolution and mediation. His research has focussed on comparative brain development in dolphins and humans, as well as aspects of social evolution. He is presently a member of staff in the School of Politics, University of KwaZulu-Natal and is developing and facilitating a programme in Peace Studies.
Alain is also an avid sportsman, playing both cricket and rugby at Cambridge, as well as holding a black belt in taekwondo and colours for lifesaving and lacrosse.
